Terms & Conditions

10-Day Yoga Retreat in Rishikesh, 2025

1. Retreat Booking and Payment

  • Booking Confirmation: Your booking will only be confirmed once a deposit has been received and processed. The deposit amount is non-refundable.

  • Full Payment: Full payment for the retreat must be completed by as the payment plan dates outlined in the booking form.

  • Non-Refundable Payments: All deposits and payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, except as outlined below in the Cancellation Policy.​

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy​

  • Participant Cancellations:

  • We want to ensure that your experience at the retreat is seamless and enriching. Please note that all deposits and payments for the retreat are non-refundable.

  • We kindly ask that you understand there are no cancellations allowed once your booking is confirmed, as this helps us maintain the retreat’s structure and offers a smooth experience for all involved.​

  • Retreat Cancellation by Sacred Official:

  • In the rare event that Sacred Official must cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer to a future retreat date of their choice. We are committed to ensuring your experience is as smooth and flexible as possible.

 

3. Changes to Your Booking

  • Transfer of Booking: If you wish to transfer your booking to another person or change your retreat dates, please notify us at least [X weeks] prior to the retreat start date. Transfer requests are subject to availability and may incur a fee.

4. Health and Safety

  • Health Disclosure: Participants are required to disclose any pre-existing health conditions or concerns that may affect their participation in retreat activities. Sacred Official reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant’s health condition may pose a risk during the retreat.

  • Medical Emergencies: In case of an emergency, Sacred Official will seek medical assistance on behalf of the participant, and the participant is responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the retreat.

5. Behavior Expectations

  • Respect and Etiquette: All participants are expected to treat fellow retreat participants, instructors, and retreat staff with respect and kindness. Sacred Official reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or poses a risk to the safety and well-being of others.

  • Silence and Participation: There will be periods of silence and group activities, and participants are expected to respect these times of reflection. Participation in all scheduled activities is encouraged but optional.

6. Accommodation and Meals

  • Accommodation: Sacred Official will provide accommodation as per the package selected at the time of booking. Any requests for room upgrades or changes to accommodation preferences are subject to availability.

  • Dietary Restrictions: Please notify us of any dietary restrictions or preferences at the time of booking. Sacred Official will do its best to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other dietary needs, but this cannot be guaranteed.​

 

7. Photography and Media Release

  • Photography Consent: By participating in the retreat, you consent to photographs and videos being taken during the retreat for promotional and documentation purposes. These images may be used by Sacred Official in promotional materials, including social media, websites, and printed materials.

  • Opt-Out Option: If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify the retreat organizers prior to the retreat start date.

8. Liability and Assumption of Risk

  • Liability Waiver: Participants must sign a waiver acknowledging the inherent risks of participating in yoga and related activities. Sacred Official will not be held liable for any injury, illness, or damage incurred during the retreat.

  • Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for listening to their bodies and refraining from activities that cause discomfort or harm. Sacred Official instructors are available to offer modifications or adjustments during activities when necessary.

9. Insurance

  • Travel Insurance: Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, delays, or medical emergencies.

  • Retreat Insurance: Sacred Official holds appropriate insurance for the activities conducted during the retreat, but participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and travel arrangements.

10. Force Majeure

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: Sacred Official will not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes to the retreat schedule caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or public health emergencies (e.g., pandemics).

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Western Australia, Australia. However, for matters arising directly at the retreat location in India, Indian law may apply, and the venue for resolution will be determined at the organizer’s discretion.

12. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • Sacred Official reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants in advance, and continued participation in the retreat will be considered acceptance of the updated terms.
